Why poker is not gambling?

Many people have a heat debate that the poker should be considered different from gambling. Their argument is usually that poker is a skill game, while other gambling games are much less dependent upon skill.

I agree this point. In my opinion, I think poker is 100% a game of skill. Why poker is not gambling? Poker is not gambling because what separates the winners from the losers is skill. The poker players have high kill in playing poker, who will win over the long run, while the poker players have poor skill in playing poker, who will loses for long time. Even there are some poor skill poker players who want to change the fate of losing, so they use some high-tech poker devices to make themselves have the shortcoming of skill. Otherwise, the gambling games like roulette or craps have no long run winners, playing those gambling games mostly depend on luck, while the luck is very difficult to control, and the odds of gambling games are not in favor of players, we take craps for example, the longer a craps player plays craps, the more he loses. The skill is the crucial to prove that the poker is not gambling.
